Big Love For Ask Rachel UK

Meet Rachel Davis, the founder of Ask Rachel UK.

Formerly known as RT Social and newly rebranded as Ask Rachel UK, Rachel Davis is known locally as the Canva Queen.

From power hours to content creation sessions to social media planning to monthly mentoring, Rachel has something for everyone looking to learn more about utilising social media and Canva.

What makes Rachel stand out is her naturally supportive and patient teaching style. She firmly believes there’s no such thing as a silly question and creates a welcoming space where you can learn and create at your own pace. If you’ve ever felt a little intimidated by social media or overwhelmed by tools like Canva, Rachel is the perfect person to help you feel confident, capable and inspired.

She’s also really fun to work with and that’s exactly what learning should be about. The more fun it is, the more you’ll want to keep learning and building your skills.

We asked Rachel …

Why did you start your business?
“I started my business after leaving a toxic workplace. I wanted to help people with something I found really easy – social media. Over the past 10 years my business has evolved, and with every pivot, it’s become more aligned with who I am”

What motivates you to keep going?
“The people I help. Every time someone says, “Oh, I get it now” or proudly shows me something they’ve created in Canva, I feel like the proudest mumma”

What’s been your biggest challenge?
“Earning money. I want to help everyone I meet and I’m guilty of not always charging what I should”

What’s one of your proudest achievements?
“Winning the Women Who Support Award in 2023. Supporting other women in business is what I do best and being recognised for that meant the world to me”

What advice would you give to someone starting their own business?
“Don’t overthink it. Take one step at a time and do the things that bring you joy”

What do you love to do in your free time?
“Kicking and punching things! I love taking part in regular classes at Julie Liggins Fitness (a fellow Women Who member), walking my dog Scout (my best ideas come to me on dog walks) and getting away in the campervan with my husband”

Rachel’s Women Who Journey

“I love how supportive The Women Who Business Community is. When you’re a small business owner trying to do everything yourself, it’s so important to feel like people have your back. I love that no question is too silly and that everyone genuinely wants to help.

I’ve made so many friends through Women Who. Years back, at a Ravenmeadow event, I bonded with Helen Yandell over being local businesses in Droitwich; she hasn’t been able to get rid of me since! And Dawn Owen has been instrumental in helping me upskill my mindset and believe in myself as much as my cheerleaders do.

If you’re thinking of joining The Women Who Business Community, get involved! Don’t sit on the side lines. We’re all very busy women, if you don’t join in, we’ll miss you”
