Our local communities are full of brilliant charities doing vital work and businesses with skills, knowledge, resources and a genuine desire to contribute. But there wasn’t a dedicated space bringing the two together.
So we created one.
Charity Collab Club brings local charities and businesses into the same room to understand one another, exchange ideas, share expertise and explore partnerships that can make a genuine difference.
A different kind of room
This isn’t about charities simply asking businesses for funding, and it isn’t about businesses turning up to tick a corporate social responsibility box.
It’s about building relationships.
A charity might need help with marketing, finance, strategy, technology, HR or reaching new audiences. A local business might have exactly that expertise to share. Equally, businesses can learn more about the challenges affecting people in their communities, discover local causes they genuinely connect with and find practical ways to use their skills and resources for good.
Sometimes the most valuable thing someone can offer isn’t money. It’s what they know, who they know or what they can help make possible.
What happens at a Charity Collab Club?
Expect open conversation, practical insight and facilitated breakout discussions designed to move beyond introductions and into useful conversations.
We encourage charities to talk about what they genuinely need and businesses to think beyond traditional fundraising or sponsorship.
You might leave with a new idea, an introduction, some professional advice, a future partnership or a completely different way of approaching a challenge.
Not every conversation needs to result in something immediately. We’re creating the space for relationships to develop and opportunities to emerge.
