Four Founders, One Website
How Four Members Came Together To Create Something Beautiful
One of the things we talk about a lot within The Women Who Business Community is the true power of collaboration.
Not collaboration for the sake of visibility. Not collaboration because it sounds good on social media. But genuine collaboration built on trust, shared skills, support and understanding.
We want to share a beautiful example of exactly what that can look like.

Last year, one of our members, Mandy Taylor, decided it was time to refresh her website for Mandy’s Home Bakery.
Mandy’s existing website was doing its job in the practical sense. People could contact her, browse her details and make enquiries. But it wasn’t truly reflecting the artistry behind her work.
And artistry really is the right word.
Mandy creates the most beautiful cakes, specialising in intricate floral designs that are full of detail, elegance and care. Every single cake clearly reflects the passion she has for what she does. The attention to detail is incredible, you can instantly tell that each creation is made with genuine love and pride and they taste amazing too!
To bring that artistry to life online, Mandy reached out to fellow Women Who member Helen Davies, founder of Citrus Web, who specialises in Wix websites for small businesses.
Together, Mandy and Helen began creating a website that would finally showcase Mandy’s work in the way it deserved to be seen.
But this is where the story becomes even more special.
To elevate the project further, they brought in two more brilliant women from our community.
Helen Yandell of Helen Yandell Photography captured stunning photography of Mandy’s cakes, beautifully highlighting the delicate textures, intricate floral work and crafts’woman’ship behind every single creation.
Alongside this, Emma Beardsley-Murrills of EBM Photography took care of Mandy’s brand photography, helping to bring warmth, personality and professionalism to the final result. Emma’s Brand Photography package also supported Mandy with content creation for social media.

And then life happened.
Whilst the project was underway, Mandy experienced some difficult personal circumstances. Naturally, her focus needed to shift.
But this is exactly why supportive collaboration matters so much.
Because the relationships had already been built and because these women genuinely trusted and respected one another, Helen, Helen, and Emma were able to continue moving the project forwards whilst Mandy stepped back to focus on what mattered most at that moment.
There was no added pressure. No feeling that she had to hold everything together alone.
Instead, there was trust.
The kind of trust that allows someone to say, “I need to step away for a moment,” knowing the people around them will help carry things forward. That sort of support is invaluable.
As women in business, many of us are juggling far more than people realise behind the scenes. Families, caring responsibilities, health, stress, finances, and the emotional weight that often comes with trying to build something meaningful.
Collaboration done properly can ease some of that pressure. It reminds us that business does not always have to feel lonely or heavy.
Sometimes it looks like 3 women quietly pulling together behind the scenes to help another woman through a difficult chapter, whilst still bringing her vision to life.
The finished website is stunning and such a wonderful reflection of Mandy’s talent, alongside the skills and creativity of the women who helped bring it all together.

This is what #YesToCollaboration means to us.
Women using their individual strengths to help one another succeed, grow and feel supported along the way.
