Big Love For Red Barrow Mortgage Solutions

Meet Amy Dyble, the founder of Red Barrow Mortgage Solutions

Based in Halesowen, Amy is the founder of Red Barrow Mortgage Solutions, a brokerage created to offer an inclusive, compassionate service for anyone who feels anxious or overwhelmed about seeking financial advice.

Amy is particularly passionate about supporting clients through a wide range of life circumstances, including:

  • Navigating mortgage options after a relationship breakdown
  • Rebuilding after experiences of domestic or financial abuse
  • Finding solutions for those with imperfect credit histories
  • Guiding First Time Buyers through each step of the home-buying process

At Red Barrow, Amy has created a non-judgemental, understanding environment where individual needs are respected and prioritised. She’s committed to providing safe, inclusive spaces for people from all walks of life, including diverse family structures, people with disabilities and members of the LGBTQ+ community.

We love how much warmth and friendliness Amy brings to an industry known to be quite cold and intimidating.

As part of our #BigLoveForSmallBusiness campaign we asked Amy the following questions …

Why She Started

Amy first qualified as a mortgage advisor in March 2021 and launched her own brokerage in May 2025. After years of working under an established firm, she knew she wanted to build something that truly reflected her values – a safe, welcoming space where clients could receive advice without judgement.

What Keeps Her Motivated

Her drive comes from helping people, particularly women, who feel they have nowhere to turn with their finances. She says:

“I want there to be a safe, welcoming space for anyone that feels stuck financially, so they know they can reach out for support.”

Challenges & Wins

Her biggest challenge has been making the leap from working under another firm to setting up her own brokerage; balancing the demands of building a new brand whilst still working full time.

One of her proudest moments was helping a client who had been told she’d never get a mortgage on her own. With Amy’s help, she now has a house in her sole name, a home  for her and her children.

Advice for Aspiring Business Owners

Amy’s advice is simple but powerful:

“Be brave. You can overthink it and research it to death, but honestly, it just takes massive guts. And develop thick skin, you’re going to need it.”

Life Outside Work

When she’s not supporting clients, Amy enjoys gardening (“it keeps me sane”), spending time with friends and walking in the fresh air with really loud music blasting through headphones to switch off her brain.

Why She Loves The Women Who Business Community

Amy values the inclusive, no-pressure, friendly environment of The Women Who Business Community. She shares:

“My mindset has shifted to a more relaxed approach. It’s been so nice to have an easier, more pleasant networking experience. Since joining, I’ve also been introduced to other events and networks and developed some lovely relationships.”

Her advice for anyone thinking about joining?

“Go for it. You’ve got nothing to lose and everything to gain – a supportive networking group full of friendly people.”
