Big Love For MDS Alignment
Meet Mandy Deakin-Snell, The Alignment Coach and founder of MDS Alignment.
Mandy is a Life Alignment Coach with a mission: To help business owners and teams cut through the noise, reframe challenges into opportunities, and align their actions with their goals so they can achieve more than they thought possible.
Mandy’s unique approach blends NLP (Neuro Linguistic Programming) with mBIT/mBraining techniques, a powerful combination that equips people to make wiser, more sustainable decisions, particularly in times of change and uncertainty. Mandy’s philosophy is simple yet profound: When your purpose and actions are aligned, your potential expands, and so do your results.
Alongside her coaching and training, Mandy is also a sought-after speaker, inspiring audiences with thought-provoking talks such as:
- Navigating Change with a Winning Mindset
- Improve Your Language, Improve Your Results
- Why Heart-Centred Leaders Are the Future
- Motivate, Inspire, and Retain Your Gen Y/Z Talent
She also creates bespoke sessions tailored to the unique needs of each organisation, so audiences leave not only inspired, but ready to act.
Mandy’s work goes beyond one-to-one coaching. Through her alignment consultancy, she partners with organisations to:
- Provide strategic guidance that aligns with company vision
- Support people development via coaching, workshops, and mentoring
- Design in-house training programmes to build award-winning teams
At the heart of Mandy’s work is her passion for alignment through mBIT (Multiple Brain Integration Techniques). By engaging head, heart, and gut intelligence, leaders and teams can unlock clarity, build confidence, and make decisions that create lasting impact in both business and life. As one of only 200 mBIT Coach Trainers worldwide, she runs certified courses that are also approved by Worcestershire Skills boost.
We love Mandy’s approach. Her dedication to helping people and organisations thrive, by aligning purpose with potential, is exactly what small business leadership is all about.
As part of our #BigLoveForSmallBusiness campaign we asked Mandy the following questions…
What does your business offer?
“LifeCoaching, mBIT Coach Training, and Business Consultancy”
Why did you start your business?
“LifeAlignment coaching using a combination of mBIT and NLP was the catalyst for me living an authentic life filled with passion and joy, lifting people up to levels they haven’t yet seen in themselves.
I now coach and train business owners, corporate leaders and other coaches in mBraining techniques that can totally transform their lives. This is a calling I’m honoured to serve as I embark on this new chapter of my life”
What motivates you to keep going in your business?
“When the people I help get their ‘aha moment’ and enjoy such transformation that they live a better quality of life, that’s what motivates me. It inspires me to take to the stage, deliver talks and offer free discovery calls so I can reach more people.
As an intuitive, I quickly home in on what someone needs to help unravel the blocks holding them back from what they truly desire. Seeing the light in my clients’ eyes when they gain clarity makes my heart sing”
What are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced as a business owner?
“When I first started, I had no one to help me. All the people I had supported during my corporate career were nowhere to be seen, it was disheartening. I spent a lot of time trying to figure everything out on my own and getting nowhere fast.
I hated networking and struggled to find groups where I truly fit in. That changed when I found The Women Who Business Community – my very first networking community that felt right for me. Suddenly, I was surrounded by the sort of people I wanted to be around.
Fast forward to today, I’m part of 13 networks … which is far too many! My biggest challenge now is narrowing it down to the few I genuinely care about”
What are some of your proudest wins and achievements?
Winning my very first clients gave me hope that I was on the right path. Being invited as a guest coach at the Richmond Finance Directors Forum at the Grove Hotel in London so early on was huge. Later, Richmond Events invited me back to host two workshops at the Savoy Hotel in London.
Other highlights include writing a chapter in a book that became a global number one, speaking on stages in Hong Kong and China, and being invited to speak at The Women Who Business Community, on the very same day I held my first expo! That was a super proud moment for me”
What advice would you give to someone thinking about starting their own business?
- Join a network community fast. Don’t leave it as long as I did, you can’t do it all alone.
- Be kind to yourself. It’s easy to be hard on yourself when you don’t get it right first time.
- Remember, starting a business is a journey of self-discovery.
- Book your holidays in advance – otherwise you’ll just plough through. Self-care is critical, and it has to be planned into your calendar before burnout creeps in.
What do you love doing in your free time?
“I love learning new things, reading books, working out, walking my dogs, and spending time with my husband in the garden. And I’ll never say no to a nice spa day!”
What do you love most about The Women Who Business Community?
“The authenticity. There are no fake people here; every person I’ve met is genuine, kind and willing to help. I also love that there’s no pressure to attend every meeting or deliver a 60-second pitch. It’s informally professional and genuinely caring”
Do you have any stories about your time with The Women Who Business Community?
“I’ve met some wonderful people who I know will become lifelong friends. The community has helped me build confidence both in networking and in the services I offer through my business”
What would you say to someone considering joining our community?
“Just take a leap of faith. Follow your heart, come along to your first meeting and see for yourself”
